Acro/ LikeTumbling

Acro and Tumbling combine the skills of both dance and gymnastics. Students work on floor skills while learning routines and combinations.  Strength and flexibility, a core to Acro and Tumbling, is also trained.

Baby Bee Bops

This class introduce students to the structure of a dance class where listening and following directions are very important. Students learn basic ballet steps and begin to develop musicality. Imaginative exercises and improvisational dance are elements of each class, which encourages students to discover the pure joy of movement and creativity. Parents should stay in the lobby and watch their little dancer on the screen while they enjoy class!

Ballet 

Ballet is the foundation of many dance forms and will maximize technique and longevity in a career of dance. It provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance. Ballet classes will help dancers with posture, flexibility, fitness, balance, self-discipline, and self-confidence.

Christian Dance

Worship dance is a creative way to praise and glory our Heavenly Father.  We teach that our facial expressions and body movements can tell a story through dance and music.

These classes are a combination of ballet and jazz. Dancers will learn ballet technique along with jazz. Students will work on developing a strong fundamental technique along with flexibility, style, and a charismatic stage presence.

Competition Teams

Becoming a Dance Experience competition dancer is a fantastic opportunity to develop technique and build confidence, all while making life long friendships.  To be a part of these teams, an audition prior to the season is required.  Our teams attend 2-3 regional competitions and those qualifying will compete in the national competition.  The time commitment is more serious than other classes and while the dance schedule is set, an impromptu class(es) may be required from time to time, especially before competition to hone the performance.  These dancers become role models for other dancers at the studio and are excellent, accountable and well-organized students.

Hip Hop

Hip hop is a high-energy dance that infuses the latest styles of street dancing. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.

Jazz

Jazz is an exploration of presentation and style while emphasizing body alignment, conditioning, strength, rhythm, and stylization as well as innovative choreography and fun.

Kinder Dance

For ages 5-6 years old, Your child will be taught flexibility, arm placement, head alignment, rhythmic counting, stretching of feet, basic turn out and the foundation for Jazz, Ballet and performance.

Lyrical/Contemporary

Lyrical is an expressive genre of dance that focuses on control and fluidity of movement. Heavily focused on ballet technique and terminology, dancers will develop their musicality, advance their performance skills and solidify their ballet/jazz technique. A complete understanding of ballet technique and the ability to express emotions thru movement is necessary to succeed in this style.

Pre-Dance and Tiny Tots

Pretty Princess

This is a seasonal class. Pretty Princess Dance Camp is designed for our younger members of your royal family. Each week your little dancer will explore a different Disney Princess! Princess Dance Camp Curriculum includes lessons in ballet and jazz.

Tap 

Students will gain experience in traditional tap vocabulary through learning and practicing a variety of tap steps, short phrases, tap turns, and choreography using different rhythms supported by a wide range of music.  Tap class will begin with a set warm up focused on technique, clarity of sound, musicality, and strengthening the mind and body.

Technical

Students will work on proper alignment, strength, flexibility, understanding of body awareness and mobility to help improve their execution of leaps, turns, jumps and other dance skills/tricks.
